Vitamin T for Sex

Hot, hot hormones.

Reviewed by Craig H. Kliger, MD

Testosterone has been the subject of controversy recently, fueled partly by an April cover story in The New York Times Magazine. Author Andrew Sullivan extolled the effects of the hormone as treatment for his HIV-induced deficiency. What is relative humidity and how does it affect how I feel outside?

If the air is at 100-percent relative humidity, sweat will not evaporate into the air. As a result, we feel much hotter than the actual temperature when the relative humidity is high.

Temperature Check

Written by Gail Morris

Do you feel far away from God today? We would love to pray for you.
“So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” (Revelation 3:16)
When the heat is on in Texas, the temperatures can run over 100 degrees outside. We joke that you could fry an egg on the sidewalk. (I’ve tried. It’s slow, but it works.) During these scorching days water from the cold tap runs lukewarm. There are times when my relationship with God seems the same. Not because of Him, but because of me.
I meander in and out of His Word. I skip a day or more of one-on-one prayer time. I get caught up in the bustle of daily life and forget where my focus should be–on Him.
