Why is my baby pulling his hair?
Why does my 4-month-old pull his hair? Is this normal?

He pulls his hair because he can. Some babies will play with their ears or put their feet into their mouths for entertainment. Four month olds have very limited abilities, so when they figure out something they are capable of doing, they test and retest it out. Just be happy he isn't pulling YOUR hair. That is definitely not entertaining!
