Incredible Hulk Talking Points

devo-interact-icon-42x421Take today’s next step: Encourage someone today, become a mentor!
“With dawn about to break, Paul called everyone together and proposed breakfast: ‘This is the fourteenth day we’ve gone without food. None of us has felt like eating! But I urge you to eat something now. You’ll need strength for the rescue ahead. You’re going to come out of this without even a scratch!’” (Acts 27:33-34, The Message)
They cannot see, they can barely hear, and they have endured a very traumatic ordeal. Since they were involved in a storm, food was scarce and everyone on board was near death from starvation. They have no energy to eat and feel beaten down and abandoned by God.
God did not intend for them to remain in the boat. But they had to go through the storm and the shipwreck in order to realize how strong they really were. The storm and the accident almost killed them but God had other plans. He had plans to use that storm and accident to propel them into their destiny.

The Incredible Hulk was a fictional character that had something inside of him that he could not explain. When he got in a compromising situation, what was inside of him had a way of destroying everything around him that stood in his way.
Theoretically, each of us is like the Incredible Hulk. When it seems likes your situation is stronger than you, remember who created you. What He put inside of you is more than enough to sustain you. Ask the Lord for help, take a look inside and pull out what you need.  You are more than a conqueror. You are strong enough to survive. You were prepared for such a time as this.
Lord, thank you for giving me the strength and the power to overcome. No matter what situations may look like, you have placed everything inside of me to make it through. I bless your name, Amen.
Questions: How have you seen God work in tough times? How did this build your faith? How can you encourage a friend who is going through a trial?
